Auxiliary
The Auxiliary organises "hands on" help for the School, through a variety of activities, including volunteers to help in the Library and Music Department, and catering for official functions.
We also provide funds for various "extras", ranging from support for the Public Speaking Club, to outdoor vacuum cleaners, to improved Common Room facilities. Funds for these "extras" are raised through our Uniform Shop and social fundraising events.
Our monthly meetings, attended by the Principal or Deputy Principal, provide a daytime forum for parents to discuss areas of need and fundraising targets. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Areas where you can join us are:
- Meetings - we meet in the Common Room on the third Wednesday of the month, at 9:30am.
- Food volunteers - bring or send a plate of food occasionally.
- Uniform Shop - rostered helpers serve in our shop on Mondays and Thursdays through recess and lunchtime.
- Library - a group meets on a rostered basis on Wednesday mornings, between 9:30am and 12:00 to cover text books for the boys.
- Music Department - a group meets on a rostered basis on Wednesday afternoons, from about 1:00pm, to help with photocopying, filing etc.
